Pods
Closed pod vape systems use pre-filled pods, or atomizers, that are disposed of when empty. These systems generally use Salt Nicotine liquids and are puff activated. Instead of refilling pods and replacing coils, you simply pop in a new pod. This means there is no mess and many customers report less leaks.
Pre-filled Closed Pod Vape Systems
Since pre-filled pods are not cross compatible between brands, flavour and nicotine strength is limited. The exception being s-type pods with work with STLTH and ALLO SYNC devices. Thunderbird Vapes currently offers: STLTH and STLTH X pods, ALLO SYNC, Flavour Beast, G-Blast, and Premium Labs CLX s-compatible pods, along with proprietary pods for RELX and VUSE. Regrettably, JUUL and Cisoo / VOVA pods were discontinued in Canada prior to the 2023 introduction of Vape Excise tax.
POD & Disposable Vape Recycling
In 2020, we began to see vape companies launch recycling programs for their pre-filled pods and disposable vapes. Thunderbird Vapes was happy to be one of the first shops in Canada participating in such programs. As of 2023, we have recycling collection bins for used STLTH pods as well as all ALLO and VUSE branded pods and disposables.
We encourage customers to safely collect, store and return participating items for recycling. If you wish to see other brands introduce similar programs, please reach out to the manufactures. Thunderbird Vapes will gladly join other recycling initiatives as they come out. For customers concerned about the amount of waste produced, we are happy to show you options that have less environmental impact.
