ReBuildable Atomizers

RBA stands for “Re-Buildable Atomizer”, this term encompasses all tanks, drippers and atomizers for which the user has to build their own coil. The deck and posts of rebuildables vary widely and it is their design, in conjunction with airflow that determine if the RBA is geared towards flavour or vapour production - also known as cloud chasing. Decks with large post and/ post holes work best with large aggressive coils such as fused claptons or alien coils. As these coils have more mass they require more power to heat up and will produce larger clouds than smaller coils. Small decks with restricted airflow will generate concentrated flavour. These decks styles are recommended for vapers more concerned with flavour, those that prefer mouth-to-lung inhales, or vaping at lower wattages.

RDAs or “Rebuildable Dripping Atomizers”, also know as drippers, don’t have a reservoir and, as their name implies, requires the user to drip liquid onto the coils and cotton. While tanks may be more convenient, RDAs are great for honing your skills in the world of building. The build deck is often larger and easier to work on, and the wicking (how the cotton is installed) is less vital. That is not to say that drippers are for the novice but are often simply the easiest way to dip your toes in to building coils. It is important to know the workings of your device and atomizer. Drippers, when built properly, can produce better flavour and vapour production than any tank system.

RTA or “Rebuildable Tank Atomizers”, will have a rebuildable deck section for installing your handmade or store bought coils, most commonly a single or dual coil deck. The benefit to RTAs is that along with the ability to build coils to your personal preference you will still have a tank to hold a reservoir of liquid. While the convenience of the liquid reservoir is nice, these do have less room for error than RDAs. When it comes to installing a successful build in an RTA there is a learning curve for each tank. For example, the coils you install will be limited to the space given by the internal tank size of the individual tank. Wicking is also far more specific depending on which RTA you may be using, proper wicking can be the difference between a tank that leaks (not enough cotton to create a barrier between the liquid and the airflow), a tank that gives.

Rebuildable atomizers are for EXPERT vapers and NOT recommended for average users or beginners. The use and knowledge of how to properly test for shorts with a multi-meter is a very important factor when building your own coils and wicks. WE DO NOT OFFER ANY WARRANTY, REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES ON ANY REBUILDABLE ATOMIZERS DUE TO THE NATURE OF THESE PRODUCTS.
