Last spring we changed Local Delivery services moving to TREXITY. They were new in the Vancouver market and eager to grow. While they don't provide ETA at check out, their real time GPS tracking provide customers with all the info they need. No need to feel stuck at home all day, PIN verification and competitive pricing were well received all around. 

As they have expanded service areas, pricing zones and delivery windows have changed. In February 2026 they will officially change how they calculate rates. There are benefits and challenges with this. Unfortunately prices have increased since their launch last year. However their Prime Time pricing is being discontinued. 

NEXT DAY Local Delivery for Vancouver and Beyond!

One of the new additions is Next Day service with a flat fee of $7.25. This fee applies to addresses in Vancouver, Burnaby, Richmond and beyond. The $7.25 charge covers the $6 delivery fee, mandatory COV Paper Bag Fee of $0.25 and $1 ID verification and PIN courier fee required for all $19+ items.  NEXT DAY Service is FREE on orders over $90! This is our most cost effective delivery option for most Local customers. 

Please note that all Next Day delivery orders placed outside our business hours will be processed as Next Day Delivery when we open. If you place an order Wednesday at 10pm, it will be delivered on Friday. If you need the item on Thursday, select Same Day at check out. 

SAME DAY DELIVERY SERVICE 

Trexity has extended SAME DAY service windows and have added a Rush service. Same Day Service can now be offered until 5pm weekdays and 1pm Saturday and Sundays. If you miss the window and need it fast, contact us by phone and we'll provide a quote for RUSH delivery. 

The average cost of a Vancouver delivery rose by $2-$3 in 2025. On top of this, higher wages and a rise in excise tax (that did not get reflected in all products) put the profit on orders in the $90-100 range very small. To offset this we have adjusted our shipping discount levels. 

We're introducing Discount Tiers! Hopefully this new discounting system will benefit a wider audience, with minimal cost increase to Vancouver Customers.

One of the changes that Trexity made is to their back end and our ability to adjust rates. Now instead of having to limit the Free Shipping to Vancouver postal codes, we can use discount levels. This means the larger your order the less your shipping will be. It also means we can offer these discounts too all Trexity deliveries, not just those in Vancouver! 

Most Vancouver addresses currently have Same Day Delivery costs around $10.25. Of the samples addresses tested Burnaby was around $13 and Surrey $21. With the new system, discounts are applied to orders starting at $50 instead of $90. While the discount on a $90 order won't be as high as it used to, the savings are easier to access on smaller orders. 

• Order over $50: $2 OFF
• Spend over $90: $7 OFF
• Sped over $120: $10 OFF
• Orders over $200: $20 OFF

With these tiers a standard Vancouver delivery for a $50 order drops to $8.25 and only the $0.25 bag fee on orders of $120. This puts the discounts in line with the Canada Post Free Shipping while opening up savings for customers outside Vancouver. A customer in Surrey who previously saw $21 for Same Day shipping can now benefit from $11.25 Same Day Delivery on a $120 order or at $200 pay only the $1.25 ID and bag fees!
